High temperature firing of Engineered Ceramics® crucibles and ladles dramatically reduces inclusions. Crucibles range in melting capacity from 1 to 4000 lbs. They also come in a variety of standard and custom shapes. Engineered Ceramics® ladles are offered in both open top and teapot designs with a wide variety of spout/lip configurations.
Kiln furniture comes in a wide variety of standard shapes. These include tiles, vented saggers, and setter plates. If we do not have the shape you need, our engineering department can design a custom shape to fit your needs. Our on-site mold shop can make your custom part with some of the shortest lead times in the industry.
Engineered Ceramics® kiln components provide excellent resistance to high temperatures, corrosive or dry gas environments, thermal cycling and abrasion. Materials include: HYcor® high alumina, HYcarb™ clay bonded silicon carbide, fused silica, mullite and other formulations. Engineered Ceramics® manufactures various kiln components.
PAK TITE Spinel provides maximum protection for induction furnace coils in the event of a crucible failure. PAK TITE Spinel Ram is compatible with most alloys, including carbon and stainless steels, requiring neutral to slightly basic refractories. PAK TITE 90F is a fine wet top cap material for capping the crucible and forming pouring spouts.
