Engineered Ceramics is aware
that a high level of quality is necessary, not only to assure
our success, but that of our customers as well. To that end,
Engineered Ceramics has adopted a comprehensive approach to quality
from product design to customer satisfaction. In our efforts
to serve our customers, we have adopted the following guidelines:

Quality control is one of the
most important ingredients of the Engineered Ceramics production
environments. The process begins with the testing of incoming
raw materials. Each shape is then visually inspected, checked
for dimensional tolerances and warpage.
Pieces
are checked with x-ray which helps eliminate products that do
not measure up to Engineered Ceramics Standards. Engineered Ceramics
takes a pro-active approach to problem solving and each employee
is personally responsible for inspection.

14, 1995 Engineered Ceramics was accepted for ISO 9001/ANSI/ASQC
Q9001, from the quality system audit performed by SGS International
Certification Services, Inc. The certification received is a
commitment
to a total quality system designed to better serve Engineered
Ceramics' customers and vendors. As of December of 1998 we were
re-certified for ISO 9000.
